Angry ever lose your wedding ring?

If so, did you replace it?

I've "misplaced" mine. I feel so bad. I had it Saturday night when we went out, but did not wear it. I keep it in the ring pocket of my jeans and we were already in the car and I did not want to take my seatbelt off and dig for it in the dark. Sunday I did the shopping, but again did not wear it. It could have fallen out but I think I would have heard it hit the ground. Monday I was home all day doing massive cleanup of the house. It could have hit the carpet or fallen in the trash without my noticing.

Tuesday after physical therapy I went to put it on and it was gone! I thought it most likely it fell out while I was laying down doing exercises. Called the doctor's office and they searched but did not find it. I have searched the house and car. If I lost it at the grocery store I know it will not be returned, someone got themselves a nice $500 gold ring. Of course, it is priceless to me.

I sure hope you find it! What a terrible thing to lose.

I temporarily misplaced mine once under weird circumstances: I had my wedding and engagement rings in one velvet box (hidden high on a shelf in my closet) ready to take to the jeweler to be resized, but when I got to the jeweler only the engagement ring was there. My young son found my wedding ring under our back deck a few days later. Have never figured this one out.

I also did have both rings fall off once when we were unpacking after a move. They fell into one of the many bags of packing paper, and I was in a panic until I found the bag that contained them. Fortunately, I had realized right away where they likely were.

About six weeks after I got married. I'm not good with watches/rings/etc. I fidget, I take them off and play with them, and I lose them.

    Wife gets that about me

We didn't bother to replace. It was a $40 Wal-Mart special anyway.

I've lost one. I had a gold/white gold band from my first marriage. It was somewhat thick, so I would take it off to type at work. I left it on the keyboard one night, and it was gone the next morning.

Biggest mistake, replacing it with platinum. But eventually that platinum ring got traded in for a lot of nice silver jewelry for ceashels (Wife # permanent)

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Big Hug to you! I hope you find it.

I lost the diamond out of my ring once. Finally found it after broom sweeping the whole house.

Don't give up! You could still find. I lost a diamond earring and found it weeks later under my desk at work. Just goes to show that the cleaning people didn't do a good cleaning job.

Ex-hubby lost TWO of them. Then I lost him - LOL!

Oh no! I hope it turns up soon. I rarely ever take mine off and if I do they go straight into a drawer in my jewerly box.

I don't wear my original wedding band anymore. It belonged to my MIL and it was very thin. When I decided to stop wearing my engagement ring(the setting sits up very high and it snags on everything) I told dh that I would like to have a wider gold band so he got me one for Christmas that year. I wear it with my anniversary band. I am sentimental about the original one and still have it. But I am also sentimental about what a wedding band means so if I didn't find it I probably would replace it.

I've lost two!! I used to work in Neonatal ICU, and we all wore our jewelry pinned to our scrubs. Sent the scrubs to the laundry, good-bye ring!
Second one I'm pretty sure was stolen (as was another sentimental ring which went missing at the same time)
So I now wear a $50 plain gold band, and if I lose this one, I'm just not going to replace it, I will have learned my lesson!

I hope you find it. You never know you may get it back!

On our last big anniversary dh got me a new wedding set much to my dismay ( it is the thought that counts I know). Last winter I lost it because you know how when it is cold your rings sometimes get loose? I had been to the gas station and our small grocery store. I was horrified! I called both places once I realized I'd lost it. Nope. I called our local police station. They had it turned in.

I kind of feel dumb posting it cuz this is a frugal board but I want to make a point and say there is hope! I got my 2.75 carat wedding set back!!!! Now that is one honest person thank heavens (Remember I didn't buy it he did ~ I just had the STROKE over him buying it!!!!!) So there are honest people out there!!!!!!!! Hopefully one found your ring. Don't give up yet!

I also got my purse back 2 x with all my $ in it. (yes I am forgetful.) On the other hand I have a very sentimental but not expensive piece of jewelry taken right from my house

I've haven't lost mine yet (knock on wood) but DH lost his wedding band when we went to Hawaii 4 years ago. We were snorkeling in the ocean and DH got out of the water to go sit on the beach when he noticed it was gone. When I got out of the water he said "Don't be mad." then told me what happened. I said that the hawaiian gods must have wanted an offering and they got it LOL. We never did replace it because at the time he was working in a different position where wearing rings was prohibited for safety reasons.

I put mine in my pocket during a heavy day of cleaning. It went through the dryer and broke into two pieces (it is a custom made braid so it needs to be repaired). For now until it is repaired I am wearing one of the small plain band we got at KMart for $10.

I lost my first set. I had to take it off when I was pregnant with my first child because of weight gain. It was in the closet lock box, after she was born dh and I went through a rough patch and ended up seperating. When we got back together my rings were no longer in the box. To keep the peace now, 14 years later we don't talk about those rings, but I figure he sold them. He replaced them with an anniversary band a couple years after we got back together. That ring is again in the lock box waiting to be resized, as it is too big because of weight loss.
