Unhappy I have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach!

As some of you know, I was terminated from a nursing job last year, for complicated and (I think) unjustified reasons.

I had been working two jobs at the time I was terminated, so I do have continuous employment, but I'm so nervous about this. I have laid it before the Lord, if He wants me there, He'll make it happen, but I tend to worry and fret about stuff like this.

Just thought I'd share, and if you would keep me in your prayers, I would appreciate it.

I know how hard it can be to just believe... I work on that on a regular basis.

I think that things will work out for you, and if not, there is a reason, there is another path out there that you will be pointed to.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there!

Don't make God do all the work, he's stretched thin these days. Look at it this way, you're good enough at what you do that not only has a 2nd employer hired you, but they've kept you on while your first job fell apart. YOU must be doing something well enough by yourself! Don't worry about it. : :

Somehow, I left out of my original post that I applied for a staff nurse job at a big Indianapolis hospital today. I was upfront and honest about my termination, and hope they give me a chance to explain myself.

I cannot tell you how much all of your immediate responses mean to me. Thank you SO MUCH!! I love my FV friends!

Amen!!! I can totally empathize with you as I am also a nurse and I was "removed" from my position due to unfair circumstances. They could not fire me because I had to much seniority. I was placed (without any choice) into another position within the same hospital. EVERYONE knew that I was removed. I was sooooooooo embarrassed and angry!!! However God worked it all out because I have grown to love my new position. It is less stress and more days off. I am happier in this new position then I ever was in the old one.
So you never know this may all end up being a blessing in disguise...I will keep you in my prayers that God will supply you with a position which you will love.

Sending prayers and aloha your way. If for some reason you do not get this job, it was not in the plan for you and something that is right for you will open up. Continue on your path with God's guidance.
