Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween!!
Just wanted to wish the village both a safe and happy trick and treat filled day/evening whether you're dishing out the candies or supervising the lil'uns collecting it for yas.....er them
What are your costumes? Kids costumes?
If you don't hand out treats....what do you normally do on this night? Any particular traditions in your family/household?
And we should add - what was the cutest costume you saw at your door tonight?
Stay safe everyone!2012: The Year Of The Purge!

Happy Halloween to you, too!
My 21 year old DD is dressing up like Alice in Wonderland (her BF handmade her costume) and my DS is going to be a gorilla in a business suit. He was actually wanting to be Sasquatch, but he couldn't find an affordable costume. My DS is going door to door asking for canned foods for the local food bank, although I'm sure he's not going to argue much if they also give him some candy.

I love Halloween, and I love handing out treats, but unfortunately, I now live in an area where even the most ambitious t-n-t'ers don't dare to tread, so I will just spend the day in my pj's, watching scary movies!

The cutest costume I'll probably see tonight will be someone in scrubs or a white coat with a stethoscope. Of course, they're real doctors here at the library -- at least we hope they are!
We have candy out on the counter for anyone who comes in. Of course, we have candy out every night, but tonight it's bigger -- fun size Snickers and Butterfingers and such rather than bite size. Give those med students a real sugar high tonight!Donna

Happy Halloween all!
Today is also DH and mine's 7th wedding anniversary. We're all getting dressed up tonight and going out. DH will be a gangster and I am being a mafia princess. DS6 is Curious George and DS11 is a black ninja. This'll be the last year we take DS11 out for trick-or-treating since he's getting too big now to do much.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

DH looked so great in his costume, but kept avoiding the camera.
DS11 ended up not going out, but he enjoyed the holiday anyways. We had issues with him all day long and felt it wouldn't be right to take him out where he could continue to behave in that manner.
Here's DS6 and I, though!
