Ya'll are making me hungry! I like boiled peanuts for a snack, but don't like the way they make my teeth feel so I have to brush immediately after eating them. I like pretzel sticks dipped in french onion dip. Yum! I had forgotten about that. I also love oreos, but rarely allow myself to indulge in them. Oh, and chick peas dipped in ranch dressing are good too.

Bread? never thought of anything other than a spoon

gingersnaps and peanut butter though the above mix would work too.
Growing up Mom and I would melt some ice cream, stir in peanut butter, maple syrup, rice crispies and refreeze. really good but it rarely made it back to the frozen state.... lolThe Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.

My grandmother always ate a sliced apple with her popcorn. I like to sprinkle chocolate chips in mine when it's hot out of the pan, love that whole sweet and salty thing.

~The weirdest combination for me is probably non-fat yogurt with local honey and sunflower seeds. At least I thought it was my own weird snack concoction until I saw it suggested as a healthy snack in a magazine this summer. They stole my snack!

I like frozen veggies and fridge-cold steamed vegetables too.
Actually, now that I think about it, I eat a lot of things with honey: pretzels, breads, cereals, dairy products(have you had it on cheese? yum!), in coffee, fried chicken, etc. It doesn't seem weird, just 'classical'.
I'm definitely trying Russ's snack. Sounds tasty!

Guess I will have to try the pickles and cheese combo. Seems to be a favorite here. lol
Sunshine, my dad would make the butter on bread sprinkled with sugar also. He would get all excited. I always thought it was a depression thing.
All these combinations are pretty unusual for me. Will need to get some ranch dressing since it seems to go well with alot of things. ; )

NO!!!! Can't believe this!!

Will have to try the bacon bits thing....love bacon.
I agree with the ranch dressing thing....goes great with lots of things. Also, creamy french dressing for a 'meat sauce'...has to be the light orange creamy though. (not a snack but....)
My latest is that I seem to be hooked on the Garlic Focaccia Croutons from Costco!!
When I get some out to put on salad, or in soup or whatever (crush up for a topping on a hot dish).....I will stand there and eat two to three handsful of them before I get them put away!
