Well he finally showed up........
He says there is about 2700.00 of damage to it so he gave us the option of keeping and fixing it or totaling it out. He said he couldn't get his computer to connect to his wireless thingy to find out it's worth(duh you are out in the country) but he figures we will get 3000-3200.00 if we total it. We told him to find out and call us and then we will decide what we want to do. If we can get a fair amount we will just total it. We didn't pay anything for it and with me out of work we can always use the money for bills. We have two other vehicles to drive so dh still has a work vehicle. He wanted me to sign over the title and give it to him today and I told him no, when he finds out what we are getting THEN we will decide what we want to do and let him know.

Glad he finally showed up! I'm surprised he is giving you an option...usually when the cost of repair is almost as much as the value of the vehicle they automatically total them.
