Hi from Sao Paulo, Brazil!
Hello everybody!
Just want to introduce myself in this great site! Pardon me if my English is not the best, it is not my first language, I am Brazilian, and recently married my great husband Chris, he is American and we currently live in Sao Paulo, in Brazil, with my two wonderful daugthers from my first marriage.
Since dh and I decided to live in Brazil until my retirement (which will be in 8 1/2 years if God allows it), he doesnt have a big income with the remote work he can do from here, so we struggle to live with a not so high budget, and this website provided lots of great tips!
Thank you all, and I hope I can contribute in here too!
Marta, from Brazil

Hi and welcome from Florida. Enjoy your time here and look to make lots of new long distance friends
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Welcome and your English seems quite good. My DH traveled their once and saw the rainforest. A family from his company hosted him and I was quite appreciative of that. He speaks nothing but English so I am greatful for the family. People there seemed very nice. Hello from Michigan.

Thank you all for the warm "welcomes"
I hope I can retribute all the great tips I see in FV with some of the experiences we have here, in general Brazilians are pretty frugal (not because we want to, mostly because we have to
)

Oh yes, and FrugalWarrior, my dh doesnt speak Portuguese either, he only speaks English, we are trying to fix that, but I must confess I am lazy to try to teach him, so much easier to speak English without having to explain the difficulties of our language here
Hope your dh enjoyed the time he spent here!
