needing some positive energy for us!
So I know I'm not super active on this site, but if anyone has kept up with a few of my posts they would know that we are currently living in a toxic roommate situation and are trying to buy a house to move out.
We found a house that is perfect for us. Not too big (1100 sq ft), in a mixed neighborhood with low crime rates and lots of young families. After doing some research, I've discovered it's even built/designed with good Feng Shui energy! (yeah, yeah...i know, but i believe in that stuff!
So our offer was accepted (6000 lower than asking price...and with seller paying 3000 closing), the sellers have agreed to fix 3 minor things to our approval, it was appraised by FHA at 4000 more than we are paying and we have a closing date set.
We are now on pins and needles as we wait to find out if the underwriter on our loan will approve. We were approved for an FHA loan (4.85% fixed with 3.5% downpayment) but due to the fact that my signifigant other has no credit (he's always been afraid of credit cards...smart boy) we have to have an underwriter. Our mortgage officer is FABULOUS and is really going out of his way to help two kids get their first home.
Anyway, we sure could use any positive energy yall have to send out into the universe on our behalf...prayers, chants, ritualistic sacrifices...ok, not the last one...unless you're some type of voodoo high priestess and think it might help! We've been told we will know by this week. Hope so, my waistline can't take anymore stress eating!
Sorry so long. It's just hard for me to accept that this longtime dream of ours might actually happen! Thanks!

Goal #1 - lose 30 lbs, lower blood sugar, blood pressure, & cholesterol - DONE
Goal #2 - lose 5 more pounds to put me in the normal range on the BMI - DONE - 5/13/11
05/16/11 - Down 36 lbs (total) since 12/08/10, under calorie goal almost every day, on treadmill 40 minutes 5 days a week MINIMUM.
