Default Have you Bought or Sold from Bonanzle

Well i have bought from buyers, but im thinking of starting to sell on there too. You get charged only if your item sells,no listing fee's. So if my items sells for $50.00 or less its $1.00 if it sells for $10.00 or less its only 50 cents... Stays on till items sells or you remove it.. Ebay has gotten outragious on listing. Just for the items i have on now cost me $5.85 to list that does not include final fee's and paypal. With Bonanzle you can accept check or M/O ebay is paypal only. Ebay owns part of paypal. so they have to get a share of the profits again. I have some stuff on ebay now, Im really thinking of transferring stuff over to Bonanzle if stuff do not get bids here in a couple days. I will be out the $5.85.

I listed 4 things there a little over a month ago. I sell the same stuff over and over on eBay, Amazon, my own website, and now Bonanzle. I sold three items the first month and have sold one so far this month. My selling fees for the first month were 3 sales = $3. Plus, no listing fees.

Much better than eBay! You never know until you try!

    Good Luck!

Believe me! I have tried selling on EVERY site that has been around since 2003. Well, not etsy because I don't sell or make homemade things.

From my time reading on the internet, Bonanzle is doing OKAY considering eBay, the economy, etc. Since it costs nothing to list, it is worth my while - LOL! BUT buyers are searching more and looking around more (it seems to me) to find what they are looking for and to get a better deal.

    Good Luck!

Thanks savvy. I just hate paying ebay listing fee's and your not even sure if it will sell or not. Having a ebay store to me is a Joke becuase I have had up to 400 plus auctions at one 1/2 instore and 1/2 auction and i still seen no increase in sales in the store. I think i will stick with Bonanzle.

You could list a few items on eBay and when you get any questions or sales you could "point" them to Bonanzle. You have to be careful answering questions though. You are not "supposed" to direct people to other sites. But I have had no problems, because my prices are lower on other sites and that makes my buyers VERY happy!

Savvy what do you sell? New stuff or antiques? Im redoing my decor and so tired of the clutter so im selling all my primitive items. I have 8 rooms full plus a basement full. I use to sell carnival glass and antiques about 2 years ago before the bottom fell out of ebay.

Thank you for posting this! I had never heard of this
site. I went there and bookmarked it so I could check
    it out later.

Was only there a minute, but saw a vintage civil war
ball gown/wedding dress that was beautiful and was
only $155.00. If purchased as a wedding gown, that
    would be an awesome price.

    Can't wait to browse there!

BF has an Ebay store and I sent this link to him.

With having a antique clock shop, this will also help out in that area.

Surilda, I was looking at what your talking about. The seller has some beautiful civil war dresses. I love going to civil war reenactments. I use to do it monthly. The prices she has the dresses for it a really good price.

At this point there is eBay, Amazon, Bonanzle, Overstock, and Etsy (homemade items). Ruby Lane is good for collectible glassware (I have heard). There may be others.

Other auction sites turn up, but die pretty quickly. It is great to offer no listing fees and low selling fees. But you have no buyers, then no/low fees means nothing. What these new sites need to do is ADVERTISE!

There's another site called US.eBid.net that was in the Woman's World Magazine. It states the listings are free and the website takes 3% of sales. I haven't looked it up yet, just saw it yesterday when mom gave it to me.

~Thanks for the tip about Bonanzle, I'd never heard of it before either.
Another site to consider selling on is Half.com. It is a division of Ebay for books, music, video games and movies. No listing fee and the selling fee is very reasonable. If you list your item at $10 you will get $10 because the selling fee comes out of the shipping and handling charge that Half tacks on for you.
Listing is 2 minutes tops for each item since you just type in the upc codes. And all you have to do is check your email for a 'sold item' alert and ship out your item. It's so much easier than Ebay.
There's also a lot of traffic on the site. I listed 7 dvd's there 2 months ago and have sold 5. ~

Have you heard of or sold on:
    ecrater
    sellbits
or the one another poster mentioned.... us.ebid.

I have noticed, too, that etsy is now selling sewing material..which they used to not do....other craft type supplies too. So they must be growing.
