Who else is getting this Nor'easter?

I did hear them say we are getting pounded worse than when Hurricane Isabel went through a few years ago. My backyard is under water already and we are supposed to get 8 more inches today and more rain tomorrow and Saturday ~ yuck!

When Isabel went through a tree fell on our house and crunched part of it ~ I did hear some reports of trees falling, but so far, our trees are staying put

It should prove interesting walking the dogs today.....

Well, our glass table on the deck went flying and smashed into a gazillion pieces and the umbrella landed in our yard ~ yikes! If that's the worst that happens, I'll consider myself lucky

DH works downtown on the water and right now the water is over the bulkhead ~ I can't imagine what it'll be like at high tide.

The radio said it's supposed to be nasty like this through Saturday

We were supposed to be away on vacation this week but it changed until next year and I am so glad ~ I would be a wreck worrying about the house, LOL!

Well, I think the worst is over although it's still rainy and windy. Everything is closed ~ even DH's work which NEVER closes ~ so he is working from home. I guess most of the ramps to the highway are closed, some tunnels and bridges are closed, cars are floating (not ours), power out for many, wires down, all the usual hurricane damage.

The smashed table was our only casualty so I consider us lucky ~ I've been wanting a new table anyway

It's so funny, the dog's $2 plastic pool didn't budge (it's empty) but our table flew across the deck. I just think it's funny, LOL!

The main road past our development was closed last night but I am going to venture out to pick up some meds later ~ and I'm taking my camera!
