Homegoods store? Anyone been there
A new store opened in the area. It is called Homegoods. I want to get there soon. Tried looking on their website but there doesn't seem to be anything talking about prices.
So I am wondering if anyone has been to this store and what was it like. Were the prices good? Is it like another Pier One or Bed, Bath, and Beyond?
Looking forward to hearing what people's experiences are.

I don't know where you live, but some of the stores, in my area are located in Marshalls. I really like it and there prices are good for your home. Definately not so overwhelming as Bed, Bath and Beyond.

LOVE homegoods, I recently redid my spare room for parents coming and got these awesome tables that I used as bedside tables for $40 each. Much cheaper than BB&B.

We have them around here, and they're like Marshalls' or TJ Maxx's home sections. More of a discount store than B, B and B. HTH

Awesome store, great selection, great prices! I can't venture there too often as it's just too tempting for me and I'm afraid I'll get carried away!

Exactly! You can find some fantastic buys there if you really look and go there often. Be sure to check everything though, some of the items may have chips, etc. I've gotten a La Cruset pot there for like 60% off the retail price. I love it and can't afford them at regular prices.

Thanks for all the responses. Guess I will wait until January to go. Between cooking and home items it will be hard to limit myself.

It is a discount place, but honestly, it's probably full of stuff you don't really need. I spent about $13 bucks there a couple of years ago on a fruit bowl and a basket for potatoes. This was before my conversion to frugality. It still bugs me, because I could have gotten that stuff at a yard sale for a total of $1.

Wow, I had no idea this store was so great. I always thought it was another BB&B. I will have to check it out some day...
