Since this whole thing started 5 of us friends have lost thier position Susan was a traffic manager for a trucking company Randy was a buyer for textiles Barb was an office manager Dena was in the wedding industry and I was a buyer for a store All different fields all unemployed . I guess the monthly unemployed divas coffee meeting is expanding. I wonder when this will all end or if it will get worse as some are predicting My heart especially goes out to my friends Barb and Susan both are single and this is killing them. No it isn't over and you can't believe the news when it says it is. I'm here hoping good things for you and safety in YOUR job. Fingers are crossed.
While our business has picked up just a touch the bills keep going up beyond what business has. It's a case of wait and see for us.
Remember we're thinking of you.Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Thinking of you. I was talking to my boss about how NONE of us are safe. The Sam's Club a few towns over from us closed on the spot one morning. Everyone went to work to find out that corporate was shutting the doors. I work for BJ's Wholesale and luckily my location is thriving, but what if they decide since we are a lower volume club that they should shut us down? SCARY world right now. All we can do is hope and pray it turns around soon---sadly it doesnt look that way

Fingers crossed you and your friends find something!

I think God wanted me to lose my job as that is when my Dad got sick and I had to take cre of him and my mom so I wouldnt have been able to work anyway at that time. I actually would like to go back to work but it aint happening there is nothing going on jobwise and I have years in retail and its Christmas time I dont ever remember seeing it this bad. i AM INTRODUCING MY FRIENDS TO fV ,in hopes you guys will be able to help them

Funny you should say that Dh and I were in a Sams club over the weekend in Freehold Nj this is a very affluent area. The place was dead on a Sat. 10 days before Thanksgiving. I spoke with one the customer service reps while dh and I were having our gourmet 1.50 lunch lol. She said she has never seen it so slow

I laugh when the "economists" said the recession is over. They have not had a conversation with any regular people
