I have two domestic shorthairs.. So nothing awesome here!

We're actually a cat-owned family, not the other way around! LOL!
We just have three shelter cats, but they've become fru fru cats. One will only eat fresh out of the box dry cat food from trader joes. OY! My husband spoils them.

We have several dsh cats but one long hair. Never had one and she's something fancy. She doesn't shed and chunks just let go every once in awhile. She may be a maine coon, but she is different from the other one we had years ago. Someone dumped her in a field w/ somw wild cats we used to feed. She just sauntered up to us and we took her home.

I have two cats. They are strays that I have taken in, but I love them just the same if they were a fancy breed. Hubby didn't like cats, but when a cat that neighbors had moved off and left came begging for food he was the one that fed her. The next morning she had went and brought her 3 kittens and put them on our patio. We found homes for the kittens and had her spayed and kept her. I love my kitty cats!!

i have 2 spoiled shelter cats....one is a blk tuxedo named baxter (which dh affectionately calls bax-'turd')....my other boy is a grey tabby named harley (when he was small and purred it was so loud for such a little guy he reminded us of a harley bike)....
we got them when they were 3 & 4 months old...baxter was born at the shelter and harley had been put into a bag that was sealed up and thrown in the trash and someone walking by heard him screaming and saved him...(WHAT the hell is wrong with people?)....because of this he is very skittish and likes very few humans....(can't say i blame him....)......they are both 4 yrs old now...
we celebrate every b-day with a party (baxter on 7-2 -his official b-date...and harley was given the date of 6-20) they each get a can of tuna on their special day and they have to invite their brother to their party and share it with them... and we sing to them all day long....
they have both become little 'diva's' and we cater to them...they tell me what and when and they have become very adament about what they prefer... they are very picky about their can food and will only eat certain kinds and it has to be a 'gravy' kind...I once gave them 'pate' and they acted like i was trying to feed them DOGFOOD....harley will only eat his fresh...and baxter has to have all the x-tra gravy which he licks off the food...stops mid-way and has to have it 'stirred' before he will go on.....
geez.... i am coming back in my next life as one of them......

I have 3 cats:
Domino - tuxedo cat rescued as a small kitten from the parking lot at work.
Lizzie - tortoiseshell rescued from the grocery store parking lot.
(There seems to be a pattern here!)
Friskie - belonged to my mother. After she passed away, my father remarried - his new wife didn't want cats.
They keep me constantly entertained!!

I have a purebred Maine Coon (see pic at left) we got from a breeder. She is a show kitty, her parents were both champions, and her grandparents, etc... though we do not show her, just keep her as a household pet. She is a lovely, sweet girl, typical of the breed. She is not spoiled, though she does have a comfortable life.
We also have a ginger tabby, domestic shorthair from the shelter. He is the fussy one that whines if his blanket is not arranged properly.Use it up, Wear it out,
Make it do, Or do without. ~unknown

Though my philosophy is treat an animal like an animal. One thing I DO for them that as a treat, when I make biscuits and toaster waffles I make them one. Sometimes I don't make them a waffle and if I don't get to it fast enough Gavin steals it from the toaster! Little butthole. =)

We have four kitties. Three of them are Maine Coons. Only one was not a shelter kitty, my daughter's beau bought her a MC for Christmas last year. They are the BESTEST cats ever. More dog than cat, if you ask me lol. So sweet and lovable, big and fluffy. I love them.
Here are our furbabies:
Maggie (dd's kitty)

Mollie (not a MC)

Poncho (orange) & Caspi. Poncho as a skin condition so he's not a furry as he could be.

We have 2 cats. I'm not sure what kind of cat Jazz is, but he is grayish-blue and has long hair. He's also a very big kitty! Lol. I had him before I met my SO, but he quickly became "Daddy's Boy" once my SO moved in.
Monkey is a creamy orange short-haired tabby. He is very vocal. When I get home from work in the mornings, he follows me around and "talks" to me. He also makes very strange noises while he eats; it almost sounds like he's singing.
I wouldn't say my kitties are spoiled, but they do live comfortably. Jazz likes his food fresh out of the box and will sit at his bowl meowing until one of us gives into his request!

I have 4 cats all from the shelter. Socks is a tabby, Sadie is a tabbie, tortie mix, Shelly is a tiger and Sydney is a tuxedo. They are all great cats, with all different personalites and all of them are spoiled rotten and I wouldnt have it any other way
