    Default Baking bug

I got it. Today I made 4 dozen pumpkin gobbs with cinnamon filling, 3 dozen peanut butter gobbs,a chocolate pie,4 dozen each of chocolate and peanut butter no bakes. But I hear something, wait.... a jar of marshmallow cream calling to me....make some fudge, you know you want to, make some fudge.

I love to bake and when it gets cold I can justify using the oven because it helps to warm the house up.

Yummy, everything sounds so good. Sounds like your freezer and your oven might be getting a workout.

Holy cow! You really got the bug, didn't you? Were others in your house ducking to avoid flying baked goods? LOL

I'm getting the bug myself lately, but lacking the ingredients to do much about it. I do, however, have the stuff to make a warm caramel apple cake...thinking that's tonight or tomorrow.

I love to bake as well! I made the Plantation Peanut Loaf that was posted here. Tonight I'm making a chocolate chip sour cream coffee cake. Home baked is so much better than store bought.

A gobb is basically 2 small cakelike cookies with a whipped icing in the center. I hate them but dh likes them.Nobody ducked cause I was here by myself. I eat very few sweets.I like pastries but can't really make them very good. Everything is in the freezer except a few for munching on

Must be a bug going around..........

Today I made brownies, and a big apple pie. I struggle with pie crust so I used one of thoes jiffy box mixes. Worked out good.

I haven't been baking too much yet, but I do have the itch. I usually do a lot of baking ahead for Christmas, but I haven't started yet.

Can you share a "gob" recipe? I've never heard of them either until today.

Sounds good pop........I have been baking too.

and savvy, I do the same thing. But I like to bake. My thing is trying new recipes. Think I need an army to feed.......as it is just me!! My mailman loves it though........I share with him. Take stuff to friends if I am going out........but doesn't always work out that way.
