Default It's gonna drive me batty

I received a phone call, but wasn't fast enough to answer, so I tried to call the number back, it says it's owner is unavailable at the moment call back later. No problem, I try again later, again, same message. I will try again later too. But the number is odd. Its a Ca number...526 area cde, but after that is nine numbers! Searchs show it is a cell phone, but...who in the world? I have entered contest so I am praying if it's something to do with that, they'd call back. It only rang twice. I would think if it was a creditor, they'd leave a message...right?

Just be careful it's not one of those fraudulent calls, or one of those dialers that call to see if the phone number exists so they can add you to their marketing list. I hate those

i did some more research and it's probably a number from Mexico. Or a telemarketer.

You'd be surprised how many creditors won't leave a message and use an array of "dead end" numbers.

Lots of marketing businesses do that. Then once you've called them back.. they have your permission to bother you.

Bill collectors most of the time call thru "hubs". Had that experience a couple days ago. He was in Texas but call registered here in Florida not far away. You can't call the hub number back. There is no one there.

Thevail is right. If you call and DID get someone you are giving permission to call.

And PLEASE don't do this on your cell phone..you could open yourself up to charges you don't want. Text messages, out of country, capturing your cell phone number etc. If you must then use a pay phone.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Anyone who actually has legitimate business with you will either leave a message or call back. If they do neither, it's not someone you wanted to talk to anyway.
