update to now there are 5 of us Make that 6

Well as I posted earlier 5 of us are out of work. 4 of my girlfriends and myself well yesterday it became 6. Dear friend Mary who was a dental office manager got the ax last nite after her boss made her work all day. Mary was replaced by a new girl she has been training .This girl will be paid half of what Mary was making. Marys husband is on disablilty and she has 2 kids one a senior in hs one in college Mary was the main breadwinner UGH does it never end. This is now all of my closest friends save one. Also my brother is being forced to retire in Jan he is senior member of his staff and they are hiring 2 young guys to replace him My brother was the highest paid staff member. He is 62 and did not plan on retiring but they are helping him out the door with no package I might add. He wanted to wait till 65 so medicare would keep in he has some health issues but not meant to be So on it goes the downsize wheel spins where it lands nobody knows. Where gonna need a bigger booth for those monthly unemployed divas coffee meetings

Sorry to hear all this. My brother may have found a position after 2 years of unemployment. Newspaper industry. My sil had been doing accounting work w/ kelly services but that had dried up for awhile. My DH has to work at home and travel out of town to find work. 1930's here we come.
