I got an A in Organic Chemistry!!!!!!!!!
I'm soooooooo excited I just had to share. I just got my grade for Organic Chemistry and I got a 94.6% which is an A. This class was extremely hard, as most of the information is very new to me.
In this class the professor drops the lowest lab and exam score, I have an A without doing either, so I'm going to have him drop the last lab and exam which are tomorrow. YIPPEE!!!!!
Now to pass composition and algebra.....~~~Lisa~~~

Thanks for the congrats. College has been an adjustment for me. I never went to college after high school. It's been almost 20 years since I graduated.
My major is nursing but I'm still finishing my prerequisites. I get to apply to the nursing program at the end of winter quarter. It's a competitive base program, so those with the best grades and nursing pre-exam get in. I'm hoping to continue with a 4.0 so I have a better chance of getting in. Also I usually do well when testing.
Wish me luck.~~~Lisa~~~

WTG!! Congratulations! I went back to school to get a degree 20+ years after graduating high school and, for the older student, it takes such a huge commitment of time and energy to get the degree (especially if working full time too) but it's so worth it! I finally got my degree this past January and it's the best thing I ever did for myself. Keep up the awesome work!!!

i truly truly take off my hat...
11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
credit card debt 7500
mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
then live on the rest!
i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.
