Yesterday was a bad day
Yesterday started out fine but soon changed. I posted before about the problems we are having with my sd. It all started whith a simple question about why has an F in algebra especially when she has a tutor she says is a big help. From then on everything she said was a lie. The teacher gave us a test ons tuff we haven't done yet...The test was a review quiz...I didn't do any extra credit...The last one was an extra credit review bonus quiz...the teacher doesn't help us just walks around..We asked her if she asked for help... the teacher diesn't have time to explain things so she understands them. Her dad helped her last night. Her problem is that when she reads she skims over the important stuff so she has no clue what she's doing. Then a little later Ifound out that my cousins boy was ina head on collision with his little girl. She is 4. The daughter has a broken collar bone and her dad couldn't walk but for some reason they sent him home. A little later while he was sleeping he started sweating and nobody could wake him. So they called an ambulance. The medics were able to wake him and then left. Didn't take him to the hospital or anything. Something doesn't sound right. This is the second wreck in two years that he has been in. The first one he demolished his mom's car. I hope today goes better.

My son does and says the same thing when he is having problems in school. I call his teacher and ask him to give him a little extra help. My thoughts are with you and your family, I hope everyone is going to be ok. I agree that something doesn't sound right and maybe he should go back to the hospital and get checked out. God Bless.

Sending warm thoughts and hugs long distance.
I ran squad as an EMT for 5 years. At the time we would have asked for a release signature to release the squad from responsibility. But I also saw recently first hand a woman who had already had one stroke and appeared to be having another one. She refused to be taken and they never asked her to sign anything. Squad can't MAKE you go.
Hope your holidays get better. Has to totally suck. hugsBank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I am a teacher who "walks the room". Your teacher is helping, and your daughter is lying through her teeth. get the teachers side of the story. I bet ten bucks your daughter isn't doing her assignments.
i got this last week from a failing kid. mom called to chew me out because the kid said i didn't help. i proceeded to tell mom that the kid was in a class of 6 people and had my undivided attention. i informed mom that kid did nothing everyday. kid got her butt kicked when she got home.11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
credit card debt 7500
mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
then live on the rest!
i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Yesterday didn't go as planned either. Dh got sent home from work because one of the machines broke but we ended up making a little bit of money working for a friend. Then we found out a friend of mine was involved in a hunting/shooting where his son was shot and another man killed. They are calling it a homicide investigation. Oh I know full well that the teacher is helpingher to the point of moving her to a different location in the classroom Granted there are like 20 kids in the class but the teacher walks around and sees who needs help. Sd is just plain lazy. And yes she lies through her teeth constantly and frankly I'm sick of it. But no amount of taking things and priviledges work so I guess she is just destined to be at home when her friends are out doing things. Maybe she'll learn. Her dad says that she is getting like her mother more and more each day. Wanting things handed to her.Bad thing is that her mother is an alcholic and a drug addict. Sd is suppose to go to the service when/if she graduates. She'll have a rude awakening there. Thanks again for all the wishes.
