We got an offer on our house!!!
We have had our home on the market for almost a year, and finally got an offer on it!! The buyer wants an answer by 7pm tomorrow!!!
And we have not even started looking for another house, 'cause it's been so long.
So.... after I just signed up to work DOUBLE the normal number of hours next month, I'll be packing up 18 years of stuff and moving to.... somewhere!!! Our oldest daughter has a large home in Indianapolis where we can stay until we find a place we want.
The good news is that we do not have a mortgage and are hoping to swoop in on a repo and get a bargain- since we can pay cash.

If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
