Default Impressed by a bank employee

I was so impressed with something that happened yesterday that I thought I would share.

I brought my teenage son to a nearby Wells Fargo Bank. I use a credit union, but the branches are further way and I wanted something within bicycling distance for him. The employee who opened the account spent more than an hour with my son explaining how banking worked, warned about overdrafts, talked about good savings habits, taught him how to use a register, shared a few stories about financial foolishness he has seen, then gave his business card and encouraged my son to call anytime with questions. I was very very impressed about the time he spent and how he explained things in a way that were understandable and engaging for my son.

Normally I don't like big banks, but I am going to give credit where credit is due.
