Very new...
I am male, 37yrs old was GM for large companies for 8 years. Thanks to the economy I am now a House Husband.
Don't get me wrong I am loving it but I am use to living differently than I find myself now. We have down sized TV, Computer, food, the temp we keep the house at, cars, everything so that we can keep our home on what my wife makes as a school nurse.
I am doing everything I know and looking for more to help cut costs and provide for my family within our means. I have a wife, and 2 kids, 5yr old girl, 2yr old boy.
I am proud of myself, I have gotten our food bill from $800 a month to $350 a month but I know I could do more but don't know where to look.
Any suggestions? I just made 1 years worth of laundry detergent for $2.00 I need to do more things like that.
I am honored to meet everyone here and look forward to learning and sharing.
