Squirrels, Never liked them much with their cute little faces
Like them even less right now. I just pulled out a bag of Christmas gifts to wrap and what do you think I find? Squirrel Stash!

Oh no, Polly!

Are the gifts ok??
At least the squirrels weren't still there...you DON'T want one of them running around inside your house and trying to catch it...

You made me think of the squirrel in the tree in Christmas Vacation. I hope your gifts are okay. I guess that's where the term "squirrel away" comes from, haha.

Two beautiful hat and scarf sets were chewed up. I pulled one out of the bag and at least 50 acorns spilled out bouncing on the hardwood floor! I looked in the bag and it was filled with acorns! I can not for the life of me figure out how they got in that room, INSIDE our house!

Sorry to hear what is going on with the squirrels. On the other hand if the person your going to give the gift to has a good sense of humor you can tell them the squirrels thought they would rather have the acorns.
I have to call the maintenance people because I think they are running around in the rafters again.

We've had them get into our attic. They can not possibly coming from the attic and wandering around our house looking for a place to stash acorns! I would think our beast of a cat would have noticed something like that. The room has a window air conditioner, I wonder if their getting in through the air conditioner? It seems so unlikely, I've been hunting for their entrance and I'm stumped. Stupid rodents!
You should see the amount of acorns I have. If they were gold I'd be set for this lifetime and the next!~~~

They're inside your house! How awful. I complain about them being in the yard. Disgusting bushy tailed rats. Here they have black fur and are about the size of a small cat. There is nothing cute about them, they freak me out.

I haven't seen one in the house, but clearly one was. I just freaked when I pulled that scarf set out and had acorns dropping all over and realized that we had a ninja squirrel that outsmarted our killer cat. Makes me wonder where else in the house he was.

we had a chipmunk have the run of the house playing with the cat when we went on holidays one year..we figured it came in when we were loading the car...the neighbour would sit in his pool and watch the cat trying to climb the windows to get him, while he was at the top..the cat sitter never noticed it...we caught it and relocated it..
that would freak me out , although depending on the family member, i'd wrap the bag and acorns...lol...

We had them running thru the attic 2 years ago. They would roll acorns across the ceiling. I just kept envisioning them eating my wiring!! My next door neighbor is former army and caught 15 chipmunks that year.
Squirrels around here wait until your car approaches and run across the road. Anyone who visits makes comment. Makes me wonder about our water. As they say "Squirrels are rats w/ better PR."

Last summer there was a squirrel that had babies on the roof over my deck. That darn thing would growl at me everytime I went outside to sit or try to grill. We had a few words and the babies grew up and they found a new home somewhere else. I was nice and let them stay for awhile.

Now the coons(i think they are so cute) love to come play on my deck. They are so fat and they seem almost domesticated and are not afraid of me. I walk outside at night and have taken several pics of them because they are so funny. One of them loves to walk up a latter that dh left on the deck.
Well so far none has got in our house anyway! I know they can do damage though.

My husband just got in from work and is trying to locate its entrance. I'm still scratching my head on this one. My husband is concerned he's still in the room somewhere.
Chipmunks? Goodness! Glad I don't have any chipmunks!
I can just imagine someone opening a box of acorns!!! LOL!!!~~~
