I like reading websites like this one. Of the 4 sections, I have read one so far. When I get done reading them all, I will go back again at some time, and read them all over again.
Back then, there was not programs like there is today to help people down on their luck.
I really felt sad for the people who lost their money when the banks crashed. Especailly the one who was a widow with 3 kids and lost her money from the insurance her husband had.--------My signature--------

When we are able to buy some more ink for the printer, I am going to print all of those stories and keep them in my "frugal binder". I think that if I were to make a second copy,I would make it into a Christmas present next year for my mother

thanks for the link. I will send this to my neice. She is part of the Me generation and is always complaining how rough she has it as she watches her new flat screen TV.

I love reading stories about the depression. I heard them all the time when my grandparents were alive. I never got tired of the stories and still don't and probably never will.
