That article doesn't say anything about a recall, just that some consumer group is concerned about chemical levels in the toy.

Its good to check tho-because sometimes it makes us more wary of other questionable products.

Well, the manufacturer is standing by its independent test results, and has released them to the public: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...=moreheadlines

""We are disputing the findings of Good Guide and we are 100% confident that Mr. Squiggles, and all other Zhu Zhu Toys, are safe and compliant with all U.S. and European standards for consumer health and safety in toys," said Russ Hornsby, Cepia's chief executive officer, in a statement. "

the group didn't use the same testing as the government uses so it is comparing apples to oranges.

I keep hearing about these toys. They seem so popular...that's not good to hear they're getting recalled.

Gosh, what a shame such a popular toy was unsafe enough to be recalled!

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

they're cute, but i think my kids would like real hamsters. Wonder if that wouldn't be cheaper after you count in the accessories and play sets...
