Duggars have 19th child........
The family could use some good thoughts and prayers. The baby is premature and weighs only 1lb., 6 oz

They could use more than "good thoughts and prayers".......

here is another article
"Josie Brooklyn was born at 25 weeks and, according to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in June, babies born at 25 weeks who receive aggressive treatment through intensive care have an 82 percent chance of survival."

Oh, what the heck.....I'll be the moron who says it first...........
think this'll finally make em stop??
(what?????? did I just say that out loud?)
having said that, yes, this baby definitely will need our prayers - on so many levels (like how does one have the time or energy to devote to a premie baby when you have 18 other children to attend to??? - oh wait - YOU DON'T!) ....I realize that some are grown, and even married, but you get the point!

Well... as a mom of 10 , I will confess....when I was just starting my family, I was always asked the magic question...."when are you going to stop having kids?"...I had always had it in my mind that there would be 3 events that would make me want to stop having children...#1. If I ever had to have a C-section - that happened w/#6...#2. If I ever had a child with problems - my youngest was born w/Down Syndrome...& #3. If I ever had a set of twins - still waiting for that to happen
...I find it odd for myself, that after uttering those words years ago, and as those events actually happened to us and we adjusted....they weren't as scary as I thought that it would be...the heart changes over time and you don't know what you can handle until it actually happens to you. We always ask ourselves "What If....." Yet when you are faced w/ the "What If", something inside of you just kicks in gear and you find yourself able to handle it and keep a positive attitude -as individuals...we are alot stronger than we give ourselves credit for.
And with an odd note, the C-section and our Downs child happened after I had been through a near death event with a ruptured ovarian cyst w/#3,a tubal ligation, a tubal ligation reversal, and a miscarriage.
& Intlmom...I don't think you're a moron

Sadly, there are many disgusting and hateful comments posted on other websites about this situation. Can we just agree that an extremely premature baby is a cause for concern in any family's life, offer them our prayers and well-wishes, and go on?

I agree with Mary, the point here is to pray for the baby, not to judge others actions based on what "you" think is the right thing for someone else to do. Who are you to judge anyway?

Many thoughts & prayers for baby Josie and her family. They have been blessed with healthy children so far, I can only imagine what they are going through right now.

Having had a little fella spend time in NICU following his delivery, I absolutely feel for this family.
Regardless of how many kids they have, that doesn't make this any easier for them. Here's to hoping for the best for baby Josie.McD

I used to love to watch the show when we had TV. While I wouldn't do it that dosen't make me right. Each their own. They don't ask for financial help. Actually he is well off on his own. I believe he used to be a Representive for Arkansas. And they are far from Jon and Kate. Dedicated family.
Hoping the baby pulls out of danger.Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I find them a delightful family. I pray for the well being of this baby. Although i do enjoy the show I did wonder at the wisdom of so much activity and travel while pregnant and older. These shows are such a double edged sword for the families.
