I think its because of the holidays. Seems they always start going up, then creap back down after.

I have been tracking our gas use for just over a year now.
I write down the date, the vehicle, the dollar amount, and the dollar amount of gas per gallon.

Our last fill up was at $ 2.86 a gallon.
That's the cheapest gas I can find.

Ours is $2.72 to $2.75. They sure can't use the excuse they have always used....the demand for...

My usual station is 2.49 now and it seems it has been for awhile, but I haven't been paying much attention, since I only have to put gas in the car about every three weeks.

I have mixed feelings on the whole gas issue. I love cheap gas, of course, but when it's cheap, the state economy is slammed and I work for the state. So I guess it's a glass half full either way. Either my gas is cheap, or the state prospers and there might, just might, be a hope of a raise. (None in the foreseeable future for now, however.)

Why not? China's oil imports in Nov were up 28%, that's pretty significant surge in demand.

Crude oil went down I think it was Thursday but natural gas went up.They said it went up because the cold weather used up alot of the stores.Ya right just an excuse to raise it because it had got cheaper.

WOW - all that isolation sure costs you!!

We have the highest gas tax and saw some today for $2.61 when I was out and about. That is lower by a bit.......has been running between $2.65 and $2.69!

By contrast it is $2.52 - or less - in Idaho.....25 minutes away.
