Back from a mini-vacation away from FV
I had to pull myself away for a while because of some emotional issues I was having, but now I'm back in as best of a form as I can possibly be.
I wanted to apologize to those I may have offended. I'm not normally as outspoken and blatant, which is what prompted me to set myself on a small vacation from the Village.
I'll tell you this...
vacation has been chilly!
... -27C today and then -25C tomorrow, plus we had a blizzard last weekend and snow all last week.
I've been also working myself to death on the kitchen and well, my arm has been giving me issues. I'm about halfway done with the cabinets and will be spending the next week getting them finished up. We head out of town next Saturday morning and will be gone a week, so I want them done by then.
I hope things have been well here. I can't say I've been lurking because I just didn't feel like I fit in for a while.

Thanks hon.

I should be better now, though I seem to have broken an old friendship of mine with someone (and it's partially his fault because he's being emo about his back and his dad), plus the paternity thing just makes me want to hide in my bed all day... I haven't even done it yet because that sort of bruised another friendship with a friend of mine.
But!
We found out that DS6 is reading grade 11 words... and I've been so busy with that.

Haha... I keep joking with DH that we're moving to Costa Rica now and I think the longer it stays colder, the more he wants to go.
Thanks! It's still coming down too.
The sad part in all of this is that we didn't get it as bad as other parts of the city. Entire city buses got snowed in and stuck, so they had to park the buses and get people out on snowmobiles. Out East in Ontario, they got something like 50-100+ cm of snow and we only had 14cm (it just drifted really, really bad).
