Default Can I ask for more hours in the day?

    I am absolutely swamped!

I can't get anything done that doesn't take ten hours to do.

I managed to make it to the mall and get more gifts, but I had to put the renovations aside to do it. I had to put the renovations to the side again for tomorrow so that I could go back to the mall again for the remainder of the gifts.

If we weren't leaving on Saturday, I would be able to get more done.

I still have to make up a dinner menu and send it to MIL so that we can get the ingredients ahead of time.

DH has to go to the bank and get a new bank card since he can't find his. I have to go to Safeway and get the Western Union cash that Mom is sending me to buy gifts for the kids. This can't be done until Saturday, so that means we're gonna have to be up extra early to get everything done if we're leaving here by 1.

I think I'm gonna ask Santa for more hours in the day.

It never hurts to ask. Sure hope that everything goes smoothly for you - just remember to keep breathing deeply - everything will work out - you'll see!!

You might get them because you would use them profitably. If I got more hours, I'm afraid I would fritter them away too instead of doing all the things I should be doing.

I sat and thought about a do to list for two hours today -- while I played a computer game before coming to work. I'm hopeless.

I'm impressed with how much you're getting done in a short time.

YES!! You can ASK for more hours in the day only IF I can ASK for myself to be cloned so that I can get everything done.

    Yes, you can ask.

However, are you sure you want to know the answer?
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I could use a few extra hours myself. With my busy time at work being now, household stuff, trying to sew christmas gifts, caring for my critters, laundry, etc. There is never enough hours in the day.

I'd like more hours in a day AND a clone. I'll send the clone to work while I sit around eating bon bons and watching soap operas...or other naughty pursuits as the whim strikes

I'll pull the lyrics off of the internet when I get to work and post them here, but for now google the lyrics to "I Need a Silent Night" by Amy Grant. I just heard it for the first time this year, but its my new Christmas theme song!

Relax, you and your family will remember your mood and frame of mind more than the gifts so let it go and give yourself a night of peace.

Hadn't heard of it before so I just went over to youtube and listened to it - really says it all. Here's the link to the song for those who haven't heard it yet: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRSSsNbF29I"]YouTube- I Need a Silent Night Amy Grant[/ame]

I'll take a few more hours, a clone and raise you a maid. I told DH that I wasn't finishing the kitchen before we left and he was completely understanding about it. It's still about halfway done. Besides, the break will allow my elbow to heal some more.

Today's probably the one day this week that I'll have time to breathe. I'm only going to Superstore to get the kids stuff, plus some food to last us until Saturday when we leave to go to my inlaws. I got the dinner list sent off to her last night, so we're Facebooking back and forth to each other about what we need as far as ingredients are concerned.

SIL has got me all sorts of busy when we're there, so that's not a problem as long as I can get dinner made too.

I have laundry all day, plus wrapping presents and getting the house in the best order that I can before Saturday. Both kids have a half day tomorrow, so wrapping presents then really isn't an option. It'd have to be tonight and tomorrow night. Thankfully, I am a fast wrapper.
