Last week they teased us with the possibility of snow for days and then we didn't get any....I was SO disappointed!!! (Actually I think it was just too darned cold to snow. I can't remember when I've been as cold as I was last week!)

Even here in Hampton Roads we are supposed to have snow ~ it never snows here (well, almost never) and it's freezing.
My DD lives up towards Richmond and they are supposed to get a bunch.
I better run to the store this morning after the dog park. Things completely shut down here at the sign of a flake or two, LOL!Nancy

~I was surprised to see snow expected here tonight and tomorrow. The last time I checked the weather we were expecting light rain. They're calling for 6-12 inches, 100% chance of snow. Yey!!!!! I love snow!~

I think you all got your wish. Hope you made it to the store and are ready to hole up for a while. Stay warm AND SAFE.

I had to chuckle when I read the title of this thread. I talked to DS11, who lives in VA with his dad - they had a foot of snow this morning, and more coming.

I'm in Lexington VA... and we got about 2 feet!
I'm from MN originally, and I must say no one deals w/that much snow very well down here... lol.
Unfortunately I still had to go to work this weekend... I spent most of my day yesterday shoveling. I work w/animals so we had to shovel paths for them to move around and for us to move around!!
Hope everyone is enjoying the snow. Now I'm just hoping it'll stay around for xmas!
