It's -6 degrees here right now, and I have to head out in it to go to work! I can't believe it's this cold already and it's only December!!! Ughh...Happy Friday everyone! Let's pray that I don't freeze to death on the way to work!

I absolutely hate it! It was in the single digits yesterday morning and I thought that was cold, now this is about 10 degrees colder than yesterday morning. I want to go someplace tropical!

Me too~ lets go! We have had lows between -10 and -25 this week. BRRRR!
I'm sure I'll be the first one in the salon so I'll sit under a dryer with a cup of coffee reading a trashy mag while it warms up in there before we open. I have a bad habit of cranking the whole wall of dryers on high because the temp is not set to rise to 70 until 15 min before opening. LOL

Hahahaha same here! I also work in a salon and do the same thing! Our heat at work is set on 64, it's always freezing in there! The little old ladies that come in are always shivering!

Its 32 right now. East coast is getting what we had on Monday and Tuesday.

We went through a week of daytime highs being -25 and the nighttime lows being around -30. My inlaws had it the worst; Edmonton was the coldest place on Earth Monday night with a temperature of -46.

I am so glad I got out this week and didn't get frostbite on my eyelids in a five minute walk to the store.

It is cold here. We are getting a storm tomorrow. Luckily do not have to go anywhere. Right now I have thermal underwear on under sweats. Plus socks and fleece slippers. And a round neck warmer that can be worn like a hat. If it gets any colder I will put on my fingerless gloves. And I am inside right now. All I see is money going out the window if I turn the heat on higher. The only thing good is it looks like a white Christmas this year.

Cat is sleeping on the bed under the fleece blanket right now.

    When is Spring?

Wow I'd not venture out if I could help it but if I had to...I'd be sporting any kind of goggles for sure!

Not only did I have to, but I was sick at the time too. I had a cold for about three or four days that I got from the kids. Sure enough, we needed food on the Saturday and Sunday that it was -30 outside. Ugh...

    it was not pretty.

I even tried to wear my sunglasses that wrap around my eyes, but with the scarf over my nose I was getting fog onto my sunglasses... then it would crystallize and I had to take them off. Now I'm trying to get rid of the dryness around my lips from the one day I walked him in the -15 weather without a scarf over my face.

How in the world do you live with -25 and -46? I'm serious. What do you do to get thru it? Get a car to start...how do you weatherize a house? Do school buses pick up all kids? Wow, this is something I've never thought of.

Hugs long distance and TRY to be warm.

Wow! I couldn't imagine! I guess I have no reason to complain now! I wouldn't leave my house! That's for sure!
