Default The Olympic Torch run just went past my store!

The Olympic torch is currently passing through our small town. There is a big to-do at city hall, and right in front of my store, the runners lit the torch from one to another, amidst a big cheering crowd.

It was one of those moments that brings tears to your eyes!

    I just wanted to share!

Did you get a chance to take any pics?
I think the torch was in TO for like 3 days'ish?! Wow.

I found out that my friend's mother got to hold the torch (pose with it, not hold it while running lol) when it went through Cornwall.

I didn't know it was coming down my street so I did not have my camera with me.

They stopped nearly in front of the store and lit the torch of the next person in the relay. There were floats with some athletes on them too. Everyone was yelling and cheering. It was a wonderful experience.
