Do You Send Christmas Cards?

If so, approximately how many? I like to send out Christmas cards snail mail each year. I send about 15. This year I've only received 2 and its 2 days before Christmas. I usually receive many more. I guess folks just don't send them much any more.

I only sent them to the card exchange here - over 30.

I usually make a special 'photo shop' card and email it out but haven't even done that this year. Doubt that I will get it done now.

I believe we sent 6 cards this year. I send cards to the people who sent us a card the year before -- the folks who care enough to stay in touch.

Only sent 5 out this year, compared to about 30 last year. I've received maybe 8 so far, this year. It's almost a dollar now for 2 cards..I would rather give the $ to the Salvation Army bell ringers.

I sent out 18 cards (one package left over from last year).

I have received 7 back.

I used to send out 60 a year but got tired of never getting anything back. Also, usually send out a "yearly" letter but didn't get that done this year.

We've received less cards as well - everyones either handing them out in person - which I plan to do to those I am seeing over the holidays or doing the free e-cards. I've had tons of those.

Usually I just send to close family and friends. I'd have love to done the FV swap this year but it just wasn't in the budget. I'm aiming for next year though.

I send between 20-25 each year. I also always take a picture of my kids together and send in the cards. This year I've only gotten 11. I think the economy is so bad that people are cutting back on buying things like cards and stamps!

I think we sent about 36 last year, but I only sent about 15 this year. I haven't gotten as many either. I may drop it altogether next year.

I only send out 4/year ~ I'm not a big car sender on any occasion, not just Christmas.

We nourmally do arouund 30 but this year i dropped those who didnt send one last year. This year I sent out 18. So far We have rec'd 4. Next year I will drop those that didnt send and save my time and stamps.

Not all of my friends are Christian (and some of my Christian friends do not believe in Christmas), so we send New Year's cards. Everyone switches calendars in January.

Plus, it gives me an extra couple of weeks to send them out.

We usually send out about 100. We both have big extended families and I worshiped with a large congregation before we married, and so I have a lot of friends 2,000 miles away.

I think that facebook is probably making Christmas cards and letters passe. Everyone already knows what happened to you all year, no need to recap it.

I quit this year.

I've always sent about 60.

The only cards sent were the two I slipped gift cards into, because we usually buy them a present.

(Godchildren, etc.)

I sent out about 10 card this year. Do not usually receive many back but it is my way of saying hello and thinking about you. Now if I was sending out 20-30 a year would probably rethink this and go more with an e-card.

I do the card swap here... that's it. I use to send so many cards, I had to start addressing them around Halloween. Seems as if most people just don't appreciate the thought...

I usually send out about 15-20, but not this year. It has been a crazy year for me, I've been so busy I haven't had time to do anything. I don't have one Christmas decoration up! I'm going to start early next year and have them done and ready to mail. My girlfriend does hers in July which she sits out by her pool! LOL
