    Cool Greetings from Northern CA

    How did you hear about frugal village?

    I have seen these forums mentioned at other frugal living sites!

    What interests you here?

    I'm interested in sharing information about all aspects of frugal living with like-minded frugal folk!

    What will you contribute?

    I'll contribute what I can about financial planning, cooking, shopping for deals, and other tidbits as I can!

    Do you know any other members here?

    Not yet!

    How many kids? Ages?

    We have two boys, ages 10 and 14.

    Tell us about yourself.

    I'm a SAHM, formerly an engineer in what feels like another life. I've been married to my wonderful hubby for 19 years. He has currently been unemployed for 11 months and counting. We own a Victorian home in the SF Bay Area that we have spent 20+ years renovating (almost done, we have done most of the work ourselves!). We are planning to "get away from it all" and move to a rural area and build a log house as soon as we can!

    Do you own any pets?

    We have one dog, a yellow lab, and one albino rat. In the past we've owned a cat (hubby is now allergic), various lizards (I'm interested in owning more, when we have more money!), fish, frogs, and hamsters.

    Occupation?

    I've abandoned my engineering area due to chemical related disability. I have completed a course to get my A+ certification (need to take the exam) as this is something I enjoy doing and might also earn us a little money!

    Married or single?

    Married

    Interests and hobbies?

    My interests include crafts, gardening, computers, cooking, and writing. At least those are the main ones!
