2009 what I'm Thankful for this past year

2009 was a rough year with losing our Suki Girl, my husbands under employment, staggering debt.....I could go on, but instead I've decided to compile a list of 10 things of 2009 that I'm thankful for. Add yours if you like.

1) my God
2) my husband who's willing to work any job, not allowing his pride to to say he's above even the most demeaning of work.
3) my children
4) my Mother
5) my new nephew in-law who has taken to our family like a duck to water. Who's thankful & respectful.
6) my church family
7) the food on our table this year, the heat in our home, our home
8) enough money to pay down some debt
9) paying off our car loan
10) The wonderful friends I've made here on the FV

what a great idea Polly!! What a great time to reflect!!

I am thankful...

1. That God is a constant presence in my life
2. For my family - the husband I chose and the daughter from God.
3. For living in a country where we still have choices
4. The challenges I face that make me stronger
5. My friends - here on FV, here on Maui, and those scattered throughout the world.
6. The opportunity to work with children with needs and their families.
7. That I finally had my surgery and am well on the road to recovery!!
8. That I have a job I love that keeps a roof over our heads and food on our table.
9. That DD has recovered from her surgeries
10. That I am learning to forgive myself

1. My amazing husband who even when I screw up thinks Im awesome.


2. The love of God and His mercy His blessings and His Grace

3. My 4 awesome children and thier spouses Im very fortunate

4. the new home we were able to get its everything we ever wanted

5. The sure knowledge that my beloved dad is up in heaven and I will see him again someday

6. Despite a crappy economy we are making out okay

7.Realizing that wisdom does come as we get older

8.Moments of genuine peace

9.Not taking anything for granted because it can be gone in a moment

10 Knowing that no matter what God has brought us along this far and will always continue to do so

This site

Having so much more control over my finances

A really good stockpile going
