What happens when you remove the disk, then reinsert it into the computer? It should just open up in My Computer; then you double-click on it and it runs.

Or you may have copied it while you were inside a particular computer application. In that case, you need to be in that program for the CD to open. Click on File and then Open to start the CD.

    Or try opening in Adobe.

It sounds like you probably used a "drag-and-drop" utility to write to the CD-R, either the one built into Windows or a third party one. They are as confusing as heck, because, even after they have burnt the files onto the disc, it still looks empty.

I would recommend disabling any drag-and-drop utility you have and using a proper CD-burning software like Nero or Roxio. They are pretty easy to use.

Bottom line is that it is entirely possible that you did burn the files to the disc but it just isn't showing them to you. Or it is possible that the problem is something else entirely.
