Hello
Hi, my name is Danae. I live in Billings, MT my husband daughter and I just moved here from Colorado in July. My husband has a great paying job, I have a decent paying job and I want to buy a house. I realize that I am only 22, but with the money that we make there is no reason for us not to be able to financially afford one. My credit is very limited, and my husbands is fair. Our problem is that we are not good at saving. I just spent 3 hours doing a budget tonight and found that I should be saving roughly 2000 a month. In reality I'm lucky if I save 200. I just need help we only have about 6000 in debt other than our vehicles.

Get your budget in check and then find a good mortgage officer who can find your options for you. My boyfriend and I just bought a house and we are 27 and 23 respectively. We qualified for an FHA loan with a low down payment and qualified for the tax credit for first time homebuyers. Nothing more rewarding, but make sure you can live on a real budget and that you are both committed to owning a house together for a long time. good luck!

Hi and welcome from Florida! Good luck with your goals.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Welcome. If you really want to buy a house, start by figuring about how much you are willing to buy a house for, and then calculating what the payments are going to be and then start putting that amount EVERY month into a saving account. If there no way that you can put the money in there, then there no way you can buy a house now. Thats a great way to start saving too. Better to learn about what can be done before you get into a loan payment and not be able to pay it and lose it and your credit score. Good luck.
ETA: And try to pay off the other debt too at the same time. So when you do buy a house you don't have to many bills to pay.
