Yup. Right now I am supposed to be practicing painting. So I came in the bedroom to get a book. Saw that the scan I was running on the computer was finished. And here I am. Competing with the cat to see the computer screen. The new food I am feeding her must be working since she is getting into more things lately.

Early today I thought it was time to start purging the drawers and closets. Haven't started it yet, but know I need to soon.

Yes! Twice a year when I would clean and organize the
    garage and the basement.

NOW, when I have big projects, I work on them each day
rather than spending the whole day dealing with it. I
decide how much time I want to spend that day, (usually
an hour), working on it. I set my timer for that time when
I start and when it goes off, I STOP. It still only takes a few
days to get it done, and it keeps you from feeling discouraged
    or overwhelmed.

A nice thing about this method is that you can work on two
or more projects at once, allowing an hour for each.

Sure do! I'm all gung ho at first but if I get distracted or sidetracked I lose momentum and then it can be a real challenge to finish what I started.

I've given myself permission to donate unfinished projects to goodwill if I don't really like it any more.......I package up the materials and instructions and out it goes.

i am queen at not finishing projects it is to a point that dh gets very irritated. I will talk about something needing to be done and he looks at me with those eyes...so today I said.. i really need to clean our bedroom out and he looks at me and says yes, I know that needs to be done but please don't start it today...I just looked at him and said no worries....when i mean throw something away.. i mean just junk papers etc... not going to start anything to strenuous with christmas break being almost over... he was relieved....

I do this all the time - but I am getting better at limiting the amount of time I will spend on each 'project'. Love to have many things going on at once - organizing it so the house is still habitable is a challenge I am learned to do!! DH calls it my nesting syndrome!!!

Embarrassingly almost always. Living in a sea of ADD and ADHD in my house doesn't help. Last fall I was so proud when I reclaimed the MIL.apt. I have been able to maintain it too!! I find if I make lists and break everything into small sections it helps me. I become OCD just for that time frame. I walk around reciting the next few items on the list. Family hides.lol

Yes, I have. Just like you I decided to clean the computer room today...power went out, sent puter into a tizzy (see my thread) and due to the puter issues I got side tracked...now the room is only partially done...better get back to it LOL.

Yep, all the time...Which one do you want to talk about.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.
