Temporarily homeless...in a good way!
Whew! What a week! Last Monday - the 28th- we moved all of our belongings into storage (save our clothes and beds) and moved ourselves into our DD#1's upstairs. On the 30th we closed on the sale of our home of 18 years, and we are frantically searching for a new home.
We are living in NW Indianapolis, about 25 miles from where we want to live in Lebanon, and while our daughter is being wonderful, I am ready to find a house and get out of her upstairs!!
One thing I'm more than a little concerned about, although it's not my problem, is that our buyer cannot afford the house she just bought from us!! We were making small talk at the closing, and she told me where she works. I happen to know how much $ she makes, and no way will she be able to pay the mortgage and heat that place!
I've also decided to start searching for an additional job as soon as we have an address. My baby patient Elizabeth, is doing so well, that I can't see her parents needing nursing care for more than a couple more months. DS is starting classes at community college next week, and before you know it, I'll have two in college.
Anyway, that's what's up in our world.

Well, the buyer may not be able to afford it, or she might have a huge inheritance she didn't mention. Either way, that issue is hers and her banks, not yours.
Gratz on the sale!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Congratulations!!! You'll find something before long.
PS...still...gives you a heart twinge on the buyer tho dosen't it...you can't help it..Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.
