I was laughing out loud at the woman who thought the bank didn't have enough money in the vault. That's hilarious!

I think I would laugh if I didn't know people who really thought that way. It kind of makes me ill in my stomach. Even my kids could think their way through some of these situations.

Thanks for bumping this up! I have one to add about someone I loved dearly.

This friend routinely racks up hundreds of dollars in bounced check charges a month from her bank as they cover them. That is some serious cash! I suggested she use cash.

Her reply was someone might steal her purse.

I asked how that was any different than losing hundreds a month in bounced check charges. I told her the odds of her purse getting stolen were much less than the odds she wouldn't bounce her normal 6 - 10 checks a month and have the bank charge her $30 a pop to cover them.

She just couldnt grasp the idea it was much less expensive to carry cash.

Her bank is still happily covering her checks and collecting for each one.

Another friend couldnt understand why the bank didnt drop her as a client. I sure do. She is very very profitable!
