Default Who uses Wii Fit Plus?

My ds 7 yrs got a Wii for Christmas from Santa. I got the Wii Fit Plus w/balance board.I have not regularly exercised for years and I am just getting back into it. I am hoping to lose 10 pounds for now. I am loving the games and exercises. Especially the yoga.

One thing I have come to realize, I need to exercise in the mornings first thing or life gets in the way......

I like the Island Cycling, Free step, Hula hoops, and Rhythm Marching. I have learned the half moon yoga position and the palm tree. I also like the balance games.

    What do you guys do?

Not sure if the Wii Fit and the Wii Fit Plus are the same or are diff but the games you listed are the ones I like playing on the bf's Wii. I LOVE the super hula hoop challenge, snowball fight and segue. I've done a few basic yoga ones - I think the same ones you listed.

I'd love to have a Wii here but its not in my budget just yet. For now, I only get to play when Im at his house.

I don't have the wii fit but I do have the Gold's cardio and the Extreme Outdoor Challenge -- they are keeping me in pain. We still need a balance board to do all the options. Maybe I'll get that for Valentines.

I like to do the preprogrammed workouts - they really get my blood pumping but I have a hard time keeping my balance on the yoga positions.

We were doing it until the disk got scratched and stopped working. The child responsible is supposed to replace if from her spending money but we haven't gotten around to taking her to the store yet.

We made the rule that the kids couldn't touch the disks at all when we got the Wii, but I guess that chewing on the nunchuk was something we didn't think about. DS6 chewed on both nunchuks, so he's not allowed on the Wii for a long time.

I love, love, love Wii Fit Plus! We're having a blast with it!

I love to skateboard, snowball fight, and do almost all of the other fun exercises.

I also enjoy putting together my own exercise routines. They mix up the strength, yoga, balance and fun stuff, which is great.

The 10 minute yoga is exhausting!!!

It's a good way to add a little more fun to the workout and I think that if you do it regularly you'll see results.

We bought some Wii fit game a couple of months back and I think I did it for about a month before getting bored.

I got kinda frustrated with the wires getting in the way when I was trying to shoulder presses and stuff like that.

It also would tend to fail to pick up my motion when I was doing squats so I'd be squatting down for like 15 seconds waiting for te darn thing to let me up again. OUCH.

Right now I've gone back to basics. Treadmill - mp3 player and am really boosting my cardio.

I cut down on the wine - I do enjoy a glass or 3 in the evenings. Cutting down was GREAT for my workouts.

I ran a mile in under 8 minutes a couple of weeks back and am averaging 2 miles a day in less than 20 mins.

...Oh - and one more thing. THE most important thing is the DIET. I'm well read on the eating so if you having any questions I'm happy to help.

The kids had another snow day today out of school.

We spent the whole afternoon playing the Wii Fit plus.

Well *I* spent more time on the couch watching and laughing.

Oh I could feel the calories burning off my body.

~I have it and enjoy it but I haven't used it this week. I never feel much like exercising when I have a cold. But I am feeling better now so no more excuses!
I really like the island cycling, hula hoop, and making my own routines. I did a 30 minute routine of yoga and strength exercise and my arms and legs were shaking all over the place near the end.
It's a pretty good, and fun, workout for a "game". ~
