Thanks everyone for listening & more about my son.
I've been part of the village for years. And can not remember who knows and who doesn't.
But we are so excited about what my son is doing musically, but even more so because he is visually impaired.
He was born with colobomas in both eyes, is half blind with reduced field of vision in his good eye. And his eyesight has been decreasing.
Having said that he manages VERY well, and most people are unaware of his limited vision (his teachers know of course).
He is an accomplished athlete in sprint kayak racing and long distance runner and swimmer (no balls to catch otherwise he would be very lousy...), but we are so happy about his music and what he is doing with composing because he could do this all his life even if his eyes sight continues to weaken ... so I have happy tears right now.
Thanks for all your PM's and comments about his music... you are making me very happy right now.

That is so wonderful. It is fortunate that he has found a fantastic way to express himself. Maybe sometime you can create a video of him playing so we call all enjoy here on FV.

DH is photo phobic... about posting things on the net... I know VERY behind the times... which is why son's you tube photo isn't very revealing.
But son does have plans for doing videos and photos of him writing music and playing cello etc ... from interesting angles, without focusing on his face directly.
If you want his you tube channel PM me.
Don't know why DH is still so stubborn, all 3 of my kids pictures have been plastered all over the internet, because of their sport involvements and performances etc. Oh well, he'll come around eventually.... I think.
