Maybe a better food. My cats eat Iams and eat for less than when they ate purina that's for sure. The old spend more to save more?? Nicer box and better vet visits. What are they getting?

My vet put all the cats on kitten chow. She says there is more protein in it and feeding the hard food is like feeding them carbs all day.and if you read the bag, its all grains,
So we switched them and they seem to eat less of it and they all have slimmed down. She would prefer we make all of their food also, but we just dont have the time for cook for "the herd" ( we have alot of cats)
I cant help you with a recipe, but am interested on what you find. Good Luck.

i just started a thread called 'kitty gravy' coz i am going thru the same thing but i am trying to elimate storebought canned food...

check out the thread coz there were some good ideas and recipes posted there....

and the results of my 1st failure (so my 'boys' told me) of attempted homemade food...

good luck on this one...cats are so darn picky...!
