I usually wear mine when I leave the house. If we have guests, I'll wear it then too. I wear eyeliner, mascara and shadow but as far as foundation is concerned, I end up breaking out three days or so after I wear it.
I have extremely large pores on my face, so if I wear something that covers the pores then I usually break out.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

Oh, gosh, about 20+ years ago, my sister insisted and my dad paid for me to see a makeup consultant on a trip home. This woman worked in the movie/tv industry and was quite a professional. She custom made foundation that absolutely matched your skin - I had never had any success with stuff from stores. She also taught me how to apply makeup properly, and I have to say, I liked it and did use it, and had nice comments about how nice I looked, but not about how nice my makeup was. Of course, I did not get home often enough and so ran out, etc. etc.
These days I mostly use face cream with sunscreen and a mineral type foundation. I got quite blotchy when I hit menopause and just felt I did not look professional. We still were wearing business clothes in those days. One of the young women who worked for me got me on the mineral foundation. That's the main thing I use, plus some lipstick or gloss to protect my lips, which get very dry. No mascara, occasionally some eyeliner or shadow. The mineral stuff lasts all day for me - put it on and then forget about it.

I wear makeup everyday. Foundation, eyeliner & mascara, a little bronzing powder. I don't go overboard. For special occasions I break out the eyeshadow.
I don't use heavy clogging makeup, so I have no trouble with my pores. My foundation has some sun block in it, so I consider that helpful.
I started wearing makeup in my twenties, after I went to the doctor because everyone kept telling me I was so pale & looked sick. The doctor said I was just fine, why didn't I try a little makeup.

I seldom wear it anymore but if I was working outside the home I would probably would. I wear it for special occasions when we are going out to dinner.

Not that much. I have used some foundation and mascara when I have to go to a funeral or something. I read an article where they say that a woman exposes herself to about 500 chemicals daily because of makeup and nail polish. I am currently looking for a natural foundation and mascara to replace what I have.

Rarely. I do enjoy applying it and I know how to do it properly, but then I can feel it on my skin, and the eye makeup makes my eyes just want to close.
