How times have changed!
Wow, it's been a loooooong time since I posted on here.
The whole format has changed and that's hard for a technophobe like me, I don't understand half of the new set up
Anyway, in the time I have been away life has been er, interesting here, hubby had a rare stroke (caused by a migraine!)which has affected his vision, he has recovered from the stroke, but still has visual problems. He is a non smoker, slim, strict vegetarian with very low cholesterol, but hey, it could have been worse.
I have had mutiple surgeries on my wrist and hand.
Our beloved special needs rescue dog passed away with cancer a few weeks ago and we miss her so much life just isn't the same without my beautiful fur baby
The UK based sites are no where near as friendly as you guys! sometimes they are so hurtful to each other I despair ............
There are so many new folks out there, I am not sure there is anyone around that will even recognise me?
Anyway, I might need a masterclass in how this new fangled site works!

Hi and welcome back from Florida! Nope, you don't know me but looking forward to reading about you. Best thing to do is play around and jump right in. Won't take you long. And yes, everyone on here is friendly.
So sorry about all the bad health your family has had including your baby dog. Glad hubby has recovered fairly well.
Jump in and start posting. Point and clickBank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Welcome back! I do remember you

Don't worry, the new set up has a very small learning curve. You'll pick it up in no time. You'll use what interests you and never mind the rest

Welcome back. I recognize you too. I was still lurking then I think.
I have been on here quite a while and sure don't have the skills that some of the younger ones have. Whipping quotes here and there. Just decide to learn 1 or 2 new things a month. Thats what i do. Everyone here is so friendly most all of the time ,true. I did accidently get involved in a european conversation and was quite put out at a response. So i agree. You can hang out w/ us Anytime.

I remember you, welcome back from a very cold, snowy, icy Holland.
From a fellow technophobe, if I can do most of the stuff on here (definitely not everything) then believe me ANYONE can do it, so I wouldn't worry too much.
And should you have problems then there is always someone on here who will explain it patiently.
You are right, this is one of the friendliest forums that I have ever come across.
I am sorry that you have been going through so much. (((HUGS))))
How are you coping in the (unheard of) cold in the UK?*Avril*

Thanks guys for the warm welcome back, I did a long post to this and it vanished! time for hubby to remind me how to safe guard my replies, I think LOL!
It's been snowing again and the roads are a bit grim, so I might get chance to do some posting over the weekend, once I have sorted out the safeguard.
Can someone point out a " key" to all the stuff that now appears on the left hand side please?
Also can you still PM people?
Have a nice day everyone
Karen
