WHY would the producers of American Idol even BOTHER to allow that on TV, knowing full well that the guy will never be the winner? Was he on TV just because it was bad or because he embarrassed himself and therefore he was entertaining?

If you watch other videos of it, it shows that they weren't making fun of him at all. Alot of people really like the song, and it is kind of catchy.

I think the song is very catchy but he would never be the next American Idol...my dads old GF tried out for the show. She is REALLY good...but a lot of the show a lot of what they want is a really good 'story' to go along with it and they like the people that are bad to. My dad said a lot of it is really fake.

My youngest said everyone at school yesterday sang it all day.We thought it was funny and cool because its something I want to say to guys all the time running around with their clothes half off. LOL

Russ. I guess were in the minority but I thought the poor guy forgot his meds or that someone put him up to it to make fun of him.
O.K I watched it again. Still not funny to me. Maybe because I can drive to Detroit and see many guys on the street corner w/ a bottle of ripple doing the same thing. lol. Not kidding.

I give the guy credit for singing on the show. I need to sing that walking down the hall of my middle school. It's a catchy tune. The guy can also still dance, he looks a little older. Thanks for sharing!

I think its funny b/c he's 62 and I think it said Veteran - he just wanted to get on the show to get his point across to his family/friends?

I think its funny how he mocks the youth of today with their 'pants on the ground' and 'hats turned sideways'. Honestly why bother wearing pants if you need a belt to hold them up to your knees? I really don't care what kind of gitch you got going on under there!

And trust me, whatever you got ain't that special that it needs to be shown to all.

My bro does this - he tries to be 'hip & cool' with the younger generation today by using their slang phrases. Something about these words coming out of his mouth just doesn't jive. You're either able to pull it off or not and since he's not, its kind of a mockery scene when he goes "Yo yo yo ho, waddup?" "Boooyeeee!!!" "S'up" and my all time fave (not) "That's FLY!" He's stuck in the 90's - someone help me!! (and keep him away from me when he acts like this! I feel for his wife at times)
