Contrary Housewife is the bomb
There is cool people in the world and then there is just cool people in the world of FV.
Hope you don't mind for me to throw you out there in the wind of the WWW.
From the goodness of her heart she has sent me pm's about what's on-sale here in our local grocery store since we live in the same area. I never asked! I thought that was so awesome of her that she did that and took the time for me...and thought of me.
That is another reason why I love this place.
And CH, I could always meet you half way on 470hwy and shop at whole foods together. I've never been there but really want to go!Last edited by Palooka; 01-17-2010 at 04:58 AM.

LOL!

People are really odd sometimes. Yesterday in the store I was buying potatoes (5lb bag 79c) and an older woman went past me and took a 5lb bag from the next display, ones that were not on sale. I pointed out that she could save about $2 here.... she wanted the other brand. I told her they were the exact same kind of potato... she wasn't convinced. Whatever. Some people...

High-Fives to you CT! I love the attitude among the "coupon people" and the "frugalites". Ever notice the thrill you get when you're able to share that "wealth"? I know for me, it puts me in a great mood! I'm gonna guess from Palooka's post you feel the same way!
WTG!!

Ya know, I think there's a whole world out there that nobody else understands, or even wants to understand for that matter
(ex. lady w/potatoes). I'd say the majority of FV would've thanked you 10 times over for pointing that out. There she was being only too happy to be A 'potato snob'....HAHAHA! Oh well! Hope she enjoys her expensive potatoes as much as she thinks she will!
As for the rest of us, we'll find a much better way to spend $2 saved anyday!!
