I am lucky. I have two sets of good china (Noritake) and a nice set of every day dishes ( Franciscan red apple). We used our good china on holidays, birthdays and special occasions for a long long time. And then , about 4 yrs ago I had to pack it all up when we had all of our floors redone. Lazy, lazy me.... I still have not unpacked it. My china cabinet has become a catch-all.
I hope to get it all put back into the china cabinet and then we will use it again. In the meantime I really love my Franciscan red apple (it has a sentimental value to me).
