Our Local Youth Fair
This past Wednesday, I was a judge at our County Livestock Pavillion for "Non Perishables" in the Youth Fair.
The Youth Fair is for kids from the 4th grade through 12th grade. They come from 4-H, Home Econ. classes, livestock/farming clubs, etc.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had never done this, but will definately do so from now on as long as I don't have to judge pigs, cows and chickens, etc.
I was so impressed with the items that were presented for competition. Non-perishables ranged from woodworking and furniture, quilts, jewelry, Christmas decorations, clothing (though there was not very much of this), photographs, etc.
The kids did a wonderful job on their items. The items will be displayed, with their ribbons, this next week.
Be proud, be proud.Hello from Sunny Central Florida
