    Default Such good news!!!

So this morning we forked out $270 for the application fee @ the apartment we wanted and that paid for some of first months rent if we got approved. She said okay come back in an hour. So DH and I got breakfast...then we were on our way to find out if we got approved. I was having terrible anxiety so I told DH to just go in because I figured it would be a no go. He comes out and told me we got approved!! We went back in and she said our credit was TERRIBLE but because we make good money, and we don't owe a lot of money they called the owner and he said to give us an apartment!!! I was crying I was so happy!!! They can tell we are good people!

They waved the $300 pet fee for us, and instead of paying $30 a month for the cats we only have to pay $10!!!

And also, she has us moving in the middle of the month, which means we need less down so we are moving in March 15th! 6 more weeks!! I am so excited and happy because bad things really happened last night with my dad.

He came home early from work (like really early) and I was like hey whats up why are you home so early? He said, I have work to do. 15 minutes later, he comes down stairs because he invited his ex g/f over (I guess gf again now?) and they go upstairs. Dad leaves his dog down stairs with me which is a PITA because he always goes after the cats. Anyway---its like 1am and I am beat and decide to go to bed and leave the dog downstairs. As soon as I lay down I hear the dog go after the cats. I run down stairs and yell at the dog to get upstairs (he usually goes in my room), but no the dog decides to bust into my dads room where I see him and her doing the dirty. My dad did not even shut his door all the way. I noticed it was open a bit. Gosh!!! I could not believe it. I cryed myself asleep. I was so upset over this for some reason. I am not sure why, but I am.

So needless to say, I am happy as heck to move!! We went to Kmart today, and put things we need on Layaway and will pick it up the day of our move (which is in the budget!).

    Happy day...bad night.

Congratulations - and nice to know you won't need quite such a large downpayment!

    Good luck with the move!

That's great. Your life will be much better in many ways when you are in your own place. It also sounds like you have found a good landlord. I'm sure they won't be disappointed with their decision to trust you.

We have definitely found such awesome land 'people'. I don't know what multiples would be called. The landlord use to be a cake decorator. Funny, huh??
