The wolf moon will be 14% bigger and 30% brighter tonight. Enjoy the view since I'll be under clouds for the next 2 days.

I have no idea what the weather will be for tonight... one minute they are saying high winds (40+ mph) the next they are saying we are going to get snow, and lots of it. Either way, I will still be out there to take a peek!

I love moon gazing. When I was little, we were stationed in Japan and my mom told me the story of the Rabbit in the Moon. He is on the moon making rice cakes for the moon god. Now, whenever I look at the moon I see the rabbit.

Does anyone else see it? Look for his ears near the top.

*shudder* The moon freaks me out. I hate big moons, they make me very nervous. It's weird.

The moon gets insanely huge here. It's just the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I love it.

So THAT'S why it's been so bright the last couple of nights! It's been lighting up the whole bedroom! More than the 'average' near-full moon...

It's going to be cloudy here with snow, also. Probably won't see much of it.
