you refuse to buy a vowel while playing the Wheel of Fortune game online... come on... they are $250!

I know I'm not the only one, where else have you caught your frugal ways sneaking in??
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

lol! I've noticed that I have become more frugal.

We were gifted a gift card for a local grocery store. I am using it very slowly! Using coupons and in store specials. I would love to have gone and bought things we never buy, but I'm too cheap! We did splurge and buy a sandwich to share! lol

CVS has vo-5 shampoo and conditioner on sale 2/$1. and you are sad you don't have any coupons.

You DH throws a ripped shirt out and you yell at him because even though it was $2. at the Salvation Army 4 years ago. He forgot to take the buttons off. Plus you wanted to make cat toys out of the material (cat xmas).

You buy 3 papers for the coupons and save the paper so when you are fishing in the public recycle bin for more you have a cover story.

You are wearing your DH's flannel shirt you gave him because you lost weight and have now gained it back. You bought it for $1. and will take the buttons off.....

The thought of buying paper towels just for watercolor painting makes you cringe.

You go to a regular department store and realize you can get the same thing at the thrift store for $1-2 so you don't buy the item.

There is something really thrilling about using a coupon on a sale item and getting the item for free.

You know when the good sales are and wait for them to buy something.

ok, there is a fine line betweeen frugal and cheap. Just saying.....

I purchased a 8 roll of papertowels in november 07 and just finished using the last one. I can't bring myself to buy anymore.

Your BF offers to buy pizza for dinner, but you insist on cooking because you just can't think of spending $20 on 1 meal, even if its not your money.

The rent is due on the 1st but I don't pay until the 5th. Interest starts on the 6th. I know the 5 days only means a few pennies at best in interest on the money but.....

AND best of all you have actually thought of using your cat's fur for quilt wadding.

When I play Monopoly on my cell phone and wonder if I should still invest in Park Place or the Railroads.

When you are sitting here eating homemade yogurt with homemade blueberry syrup and are proud that your cup is glass that is going into the dishwasher rather than plastic into the trash.

You know your frugal when the junk pickers all pass by your garbage and you look to see what's in their truck as they pass by.

You know your frugal when you inform your dogs that they will only get 1/2 a cookie before bed every night because everyone is cutting back.

You know your frugal when your dogs come when you call "Monday, refrigerator clean out Day". And everyone else in the house knows what you mean.

And my fav. "you know your frugal when you bargain at the Salvation Army and wait until 5/$5. Friday."
    Or
You know your frugal when you can do better w/ coupons than paying the prices at the dollar store.

Bwahaha! Raisin' em' right! You know you're frugal when your coworkers stage an intervention to make you go out to lunch with them. What can I say -- leftovers are just too plentiful and cheap!

Your kids think toys can only be purchased at flea markets.
